Showcase: Cumaru pergola with matching deck — Austin, TX

Finished this project last month. 450 sq ft Cumaru deck with a 12x14 Cumaru pergola over the outdoor kitchen area. Used 6x6 posts, 4x8 beams, and 2x6 rafters — all Cumaru. The weight was no joke. Needed a boom truck to set the beams.

Finished everything with Penofin Hardwood in "Natural" and the color is gorgeous. Client went with face screwing throughout for maximum structural hold in Texas wind.

This project really pushed my skills and I'm proud of the result. The pergola alone took 3 days to build.
