Showcase: Ground-level Garapa deck with built-in benches

Just finished a ground-level Garapa deck project that I'm really happy with. 300 sq ft with integrated bench seating along two sides and a step-down to a fire pit patio. The golden color of Garapa looks incredible in the late afternoon light.

Used a pedestal system to maintain 2" clearance over the existing patio slab. Face screwed with 316 SS trim heads. Finished with DeckWise Ipe Oil in "Natural."

Total project cost came in at $14,500 installed. Client was blown away by the value compared to the Ipe quotes they'd gotten ($22K+).
