Has anyone switched to the Mafell KSS 40 for Ipe miters?

I have been lugging my heavy corded 10-inch sliding miter saw to jobsites for years, but the repetitive setup is killing my back, especially on these custom Ipe radius decks. I am seriously considering pulling the trigger on the Mafell KSS 40 cross-cutting system for my finish cuts. Has anyone here used this setup for dense exotics like 5/4 Ipe or Cumaru? I am worried about the motor struggling or the blade deflection on those deeper cuts when the rail is fully extended. At roughly $1,400, it is a steep investment, but if it cuts my install time on stairs and railings by even 20 percent, it pays for itself in one season. Let me know if the track system holds up under daily abuse or if I am just buying an expensive shop toy that will break on a humid Georgia morning.
