Showcase: 900sqft Ipe rooftop deck with integrated bench seating

Just wrapped up this 900sqft Ipe rooftop install in downtown Chicago. We went with 5/4 x 6 boards and I honestly can't say enough about the DeckWise hidden fastener system for these heights—made the layout go smooth despite the wind. We finished it with three coats of Messmers UV plus to handle that lakefront sun exposure. The client insisted on matching Ipe bench seating with mitered corners, which was a bear to prep, but the end grain sealed up tight with Anchorseal. We charged $48/sqft all-in for labor and materials. Has anyone else here noticed the recent batch of Ipe from Brazil having more color variance than usual? This shipment had some wild streaks, though it polished out nicely. Thinking about switching to a different yard for the next job; anyone have a solid supplier recommendation for the Midwest?
