Anyone else notice quality inconsistency with certain suppliers?

Without naming names, I've had two shipments this year where the Ipe was clearly not the grade I ordered. Mixed heartwood and sapwood, inconsistent widths, and one delivery had boards that were still wet.

I get that supply chains are complicated but when you're promising a client premium material, this stuff matters.

Who are you all buying from that you trust? Especially looking for reliable 5/4x6 decking stock. East coast preferred but open to anyone who ships well.
