Level 2 Species cert was worth every minute

Just passed my Level 2 Species certification for Ipe and Cumaru. Honestly thought I knew everything about these species after 12 years in the trade but the course material opened my eyes on a few things.

The section on moisture content management alone was worth it. I've been checking MC wrong this whole time — or at least not accounting for species-specific gravity adjustments on my meter.

Already updated my acclimation protocols and pre-installation checklist based on what I learned. If you're on the fence about Level 2, just do it.

Just enrolled in Level 2 for Cumaru after reading this. If it's half as useful as Level 1 was, I'll be happy.

The species-specific gravity adjustment for moisture meters was a revelation for me too. I was getting readings that were off by 3-4% on Ipe. That's a huge deal.

Same experience here. The moisture content section in Level 2 completely changed how I approach acclimation. Money well spent.
