How long does Ipe need to acclimate in the Pacific Northwest?

Starting an Ipe deck project in Portland, OR next month. Our humidity is consistently 70-80% in winter and spring. My supplier ships kiln-dried boards at 12-14% MC. In this damp climate, should I extend the acclimation period beyond the standard 7 days? The boards will be stored under a covered carport but the air is very moist.
