Transition detail: hardwood deck to interior floor

Working on a project where the living room opens through sliding doors onto an Ipe deck. The client wants a seamless visual transition from the interior engineered hardwood floor to the exterior deck. Same height, similar color, minimal threshold.

The challenge is the transition detail — I need to account for water management at the door sill, different expansion rates between interior and exterior wood, and the threshold flashing. How have you guys handled indoor-outdoor transitions with hardwood decking?
